What’s New For July

Here are a few tips as we enter peak BBQ season: π₯
1. Make sure you wait for the coals to get fully lit before you start cooking (that means they should have a layer of ash around them)
2. Get creative – did you know you can barbecue fruits and vegetables? BBQ peach with some balsamic vinegar is a tasty treat that will impress the hipsters! And of course you can always throw another shrimp on barbie π
3. Don’t forget to throw the buns on the grill! (but not too long just nice and toasty)
For your summer financial tips – make sure to check in on your yearly financial goals to see how things are coming. And if you’re out and about, you might want to pause the gym membership (many gyms offer this), the same goes for streaming services if you are too busy to watch them.
Now if you want to see some new shows that are streaming – in case you haven’t heard there’s a new season of Stranger Things coming to Netflix. And on Amazon there’s a new superhero show (for adults only!) The boys
Enjoy the summer and don’t forget to reapply the sunscreen π
What’s New For June

Here’s a couple of tips to get ready for summer! If you’re planning on hosting backyard bbq’s and parties, make sure your insurance covers accidents (and if you have a pool or trampoline make sure those are included too!)
And if you haven’t planned a summer vacation yet its not too late but you might want to consider off season destinations – if you can handle the heat there are deals to be scored in places like the Caribbean or desert areas.
Here are a few new movies to catch if you’re staying in or a rainy summer day.
Always Be My Maybe looks like a fun updated version of the classic When Harry Met Sally.
And a little later this month, there’s something for the fam with Ralph Breaks the Internet.

Happy President’s Day π½

In case you’re a millennial (JK!) or just don’t know the history, President’s day was started in memory of our first president George Washington in the year 1800 following his death in 1799 and his birthday was February 22 – hence president’s day on the third Monday of February.
